In order to demonstrate your knowledge on the Civics Quiz, students must be able to tell me:
1. Which branch of gov’t. makes the laws?
2. What are the two parts of this branch?
3. Who runs the executive branch?
4. What is the group of advisers to the Executive Branch called?
5. What is this group’s responsibility?
6. What is the role/responsibility of the Judicial Branch?
7. Which court is the most important in our country?
8. What does this court (answer to 7) use to determine if something is lawful or not?
9. &10. Identify and explain 2 of our first 10 Amendments. (tell me what amendment, what it says and means)
You can get extra credit by being able to write out the Preamble word for word on this quiz.
Quiz is Monday, Jan 18th.
